4 Easy Steps
 
Step 1: Clear Choice Spa Prep:
This is added to the existing water and left in for at least 5 days.  It cleans out the spa and plumbing to remove the unwanted chemical, organic, metal and mineral buildup in your spa or hot tub.
If you are starting with a new spa you would fill it with normal tap water and add the Clear Choice Spa Prep and leave for 5 days.
During this process you may experience excess foaming and cloudy water while the Clear Choice Spa Prep cleans out the system. The spa can still be used but do not add any foam control and rinse out your filters daily.
If you are going away during the 5 day purge period remove the spa filters.
Step 2: Empty Water:
After emptying the spa flush spa plumbing by placing a running hose to the jet openings until clear water runs out into the footwell of the spa. Clean out any excess water and dry with clean towel or sponge.
Step 3: Clear Choice Spa Pre Filter:
Fill the spa with your hose attached to the Clear Choice Spa Pre Filter.
This removes unwanted metals, minerals and chemicals, balances the spa water and stops you from adding the two chemicals required with traditional treatment systems.
Step 4: Clear Choice Spa Water Treatment:
For an average sized spa add 35 drops of the water treatment per week. This contains natural soaps which break down organic waste to a smaller size to allow faster natural oxidation. It also contains a special nutrient food source which sustains healthy bacteria. The final ingredient is a blend of enzymes and coenzymes that rapidly start natural oxidation and self purification of your spa water.
To enhance your filtration system we have a fine micron boot or sleeve which attaches to the intake grills in the spa foot well. You may have more than one but it is advisable to cover at least one of the intake grills.
Maintenance
Weekly maintenance is simple add 35 drops of Clear Choice Spa water treatment, and rinse out your filters.  If the spa is not used then there is no need to add any water treatment and when you return your spa will be as clean and clear as when you left it.
At least once a month soak all spa filters, boots and sleeves in a solution of white vinegar and water for 30 mins to 1 hour, rinse well and refit to spa.
Change your water every 6 to 12 months and add 1 bottle of Clear Choice spa prep, purge overnight, then refill with a new Clear Choice spa pre filter.
